Architecture and music share many common concepts. The home of legendary virtuoso Carlos Santana features soaring spaces that evoke his exhilarating, uplifting music. With its fluid shapes and volumes, sweeping curves, subtle interplays and filterings of light, it is a home of intersection geometry. Walls veer off at 45 degrees to the axis, with doors that pocket away to form floating points, merging inside and out and opening up long diagonal-view corridors. As Carlos so aptly puts it, “a peaceful, joy-filled paradise.”
