Grammer House

Kelsey Grammer, star of the hit television series “Frasier,” wanted a retreat to escape the hectic pace of Hollywood. Surrounded on three sides by ravines and a golf course, this sanctuary was designed to respond to the tradewinds while creating a form which embraced Kelsey’s desire to “see vistas that go on forever”. His request was simply for “bedrooms on both sides of the house, with a big room, where people could meet”. Well, of course it became much more then that. From greeting his guests at the entry Hawaiian waterfall and ponds, to the sensual private outdoor spa, one feels a connection with the environment at every turn, providing a feeling of healing and relaxation.
