Overlooking the Plantation Golf Course, the project reflects the owners sensibilites and comfort of a northern California rustic but elegant interior. Not wanting to use stucco on the exterior walls, they are either clad in stone tiles or the indigeneous blue rock. A unique integral copper gutter and fascia system provides longevity and a cosistent patina finish. Each wing of the house has hidden doors which can close off either the primary or guest wings. With two grown children, the two ocean-facing guest bedrooms have two additional bedrooms behind them, for future grandchildren. All bathrooms have outdoor shower areas and the primary has a stone tub sitting in an enclosed garden. Below the home, hidden by a hedge, is a large solar array providing the electrical needs for the home.
